German Fripa Signs for a High-Speed Tissue Machine from Andritz

On July 11th, Fripa Papierfabrik Albert Friedrich KG, a well-known German household paper manufacturer, signed a contract with Andritz to provide a complete PrimeLine tissue machine for its factory in Miltenberg, Germany. The machine has an annual production capacity of 37,000 tons, a designed speed of 2,200 m/min, and a width of 2.72 m. The project is scheduled to start production in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Fripa has been operating an Andritz tissue machine since 2008. This new PrimeLine TM S2200 tissue machine will become a significant project for sustainable and high-performance tissue production in Central Europe.
